The bun thit nurong is good but not as good as elsewhere in the area. I think pho lee is better. The fish sauce was a bit scarce and the flavor of the pork is not as charred or marinated

Food is average Vietnamese. Not many choices in Cleveland. Summer rolls were very good. Vietnamese egg roll plate and seafood pho were very good. Service was very quick!! Ambiance is very middle of the road. Nothing special at all.

This was my third time eating at No. 1 Pho and my sixth time overall enjoying their delicious Vietnamese soup. I'm a huge Pho fan and this is the ABSOLUTE best in Cleveland. I've had the beef, the meatball, and the chicken. On my lastest visit on June 30, 2024, I ordered the chicken Pho along with two crispy springrolls. First, the springrolls were nothing special. They were exactly what I expected. The Pho, as always, was the star of the show and was very enjoyable. While the service is a bit awkward, not uncommon at some of the Asian restaurants due to a number of factors, it was quick and we were in and out within 20-25 minutes. Some Pho restaurants use substandard chicken. I can't even adequately describe what I've run into at other places. At one, it's almost like a rubbery chicken version of an oyster cracker. At others, the chicken is chewy or overcooked. At No. 1 Pho, the chicken chunks are real. They're delicious and perfectly cooked. If you're looking for great Pho, the name doesn't lie. No. 1 Pho is the best.

Honestly, I can't think of anything I would really change about this place. My BF and I were supposed to meet up at LJ Shanghai but since they were surprised closed...I stopped by this place and we had a great time! It's easy to find and even though there isn't a parking lot, the main street and side streets are not busy so parking is easy to find. Menu is extensive and very helpfully accompanied by clear pictures! Our food came out so quickly! Taste was great--we ordered the pho and the wonton noodle bowl. Service was quick and friendly. My only comment is that I wish my dish came with bakchoy or some type of leafy veggie as advertised on the picture... Eating area was spacious and uncluttered.

This is my all time favorite pho in Cleveland I feel like they have to know my name by now. All the soup is awesome and the appetizers are really good. Definitely recommend the squid appetizer.

Had the beef and meatball pho. It was very good and i recommend it. I have had pho many places in my travels and this was a good option in cleveland if you are looking to try it locally. I will probably come back to try their vermicelli bowls, banh mi sandwiches, and lemongrass dishes. Ambiance/decor nothing fancy so think in terms of casual not date night. Service was friendly with a smile.

Went here on a double date to grab some pho on a nice summer day. My partner and I split the pho with beef brisket (my favorite cut for pho) and the pork Banh mi. I started with the pho, and after adding a touch of lime and hoisin sauce, I was so happy to be eating such a yummy dish. It's not too heavy and the noodles and meat were juicy and delicious. However, my favorite was the Banh mi. The pork was moist, the pickled radish was the perfect balance of sweet and tart, and the bread was SO good. I literally kept raving about the bread to my friends at the table. If I could buy a basket of just the bread, I would have. The place itself is just simple and clean. There seems to be good street parking. Service was quick and fine. Overall, would definitely come back, especially for the Banh mi. Like other reviews have said, I'm quite surprised at the lower rating since I thought it was pretty great!
